05 / The bridge

There’s more than one way to go on tour.

Many young dancers enter live entertainment focused almost exclusively on performing because those are often the careers they can see. Behind every performer is an ecosystem of professionals responsible for building and operating the show.

Because TOUR MODE already reaches emerging performers through dance, we can expand what young performers understand is possible within touring—from creative direction, production and stage management to audio, lighting, video, wardrobe and technical production.

Production is not a fallback from performance. It is another professional pathway within the same industry.

06 / Why now

SZN 3 is the next evolution.

After two seasons focused on preparing dancers for the realities of professional touring, TOUR MODE is expanding the model in 2027 to include the people who help build the show.

SZN 3 marks the launch of Creative + Production as a dedicated pathway alongside Performance. TOUR MODE owns the vision and program; industry partners help strengthen the pathway at its earliest stage.

This is the moment to build the bridge correctly.

07 / TOUR MODE LIVE

The classroom becomes the show.

Performance participants move from rehearsal into tech, dress and performance.

Creative + Production participants experience how the disciplines they studied connect within the process of bringing a live show to the stage.

Participants don’t only learn about live entertainment. They watch the pieces come together around an actual production.

08 / Industry access

Training should lead somewhere.

Exposure
Hands-on training
Industry access
Mentorship
Professional pathways

TOUR MODE’s long-term vision extends beyond the intensive. We are building relationships across live entertainment that can connect emerging talent with professional environments, continued education, mentorship and future career opportunities.

09 / Industry participation

Help build the pathway.

Four clear ways an industry organization can participate in the development of the next generation of live-entertainment talent.

01

Teach

Working professionals, mentors, technical instruction, demonstrations and industry knowledge.

02

Open the door

Facility experiences, company exposure and opportunities to see professional touring and production environments.

03

Build the pathway

Underwrite access

Financial or in-kind support for scholarships, curriculum, technology, facilities, professional instruction and program development.

14 / Next step

Help us build the bridge.

TOUR MODE has spent its first two seasons preparing emerging talent for the realities of touring. SZN 3 expands that mission by helping the next generation understand not only how to perform the show—but how the show gets built.

We’re looking for industry partners who believe meaningful exposure, professional training and access can create new pathways into live entertainment.
